Wet Leg team up with HorsegiirL for high-octane remix of ‘CPR’

By VMZ Staff on June 27, 2026

It will feature on a deluxe version of their 2025 album 'Moisturizer'

The high-octane heavy beats version of the track is significantly different from the original, with HorsegiirL adding a verse of her own. She also performed the track with the band at Coachella 2026 earlier this year.

They are due to perform a series of outdoor UK dates including a show at Castlefield Bowl in Manchester on July 8, the Millennium Square in Leeds the day after (July 9) and London’s Alexandra Palace Park on July 10.

Wet Leg's Rhian Teasdale and Josh Mobaraki spoke to Radio X's John Kennedy this week to talk about the making of Moisturizer. At the end of the interview, host Kennedy began to ask about the band's third record. Before he could finish his question, though, Teasdale chimed in: "It's done."

The indie rockers will play their biggest headline shows to date in July 2026 with gigs in Manchester, Leeds and London.

But singer Rhian Teasdale has hinted they won't be performing live in a few decades time.

She told the Daily Star newspaper's Wired column: "All good things must come to an end, right?

"To be honest, when I see bands from the 70s and 80s still touring, it seems absurd to me.

"I want to be sitting at home watching Glastonbury on TV, with a nice cup of tea. Watching the next generation."

Rhian joked that the Catch These Fists hitmakers have a contingency plan if their star continues to rise.

She added: "If everything goes well, we'll end up like ABBA. We'll become holograms and people will be able to come see us play for 200 years."

Despite not wanting to emulate the likes of The Who or The Rolling Stones, Rhian admitted she still gets a real thrill from being in a group.

She said: "Playing in a band is the most wonderful feeling in the world.

"I owe a lot to [bandmate Hester Chambers]. She was incredibly patient with me. She's the one who taught me to play guitar.

"She told me I was super talented when, clearly, I wasn't at all!"
