Yoko Ono, Japanese artist, singer, poet, author and peace activist and wife of John Lennon. Ono moved to New York City from Tokyo aged 14 and first met John Lennon in London in 1966, the couple married in 1969.

Yoko Ono leaves Dakota Building (NYC), after 50 years, moves to a farm purchased with John Lennon. Yoko, who just turned 91, has quit New York City to move to a farm near Franklin.

She left the Upper West Side apartment she shared with John for decades during the pandemic and has chosen to remain on the couple's 600-acre farm full-time
John was famously murdered in the doorway of the elite Dakota Building, where the pair shared their apartment, on December 8, 1980

The 90-year-old is choosing to spend the rest of her life in a rural upstate New York farm that she and her late husband, John Lennon, purchased together in 1978, according to the Daily Mail.

Reclusive Yoko Ono, 91, hands over her business interests in The Beatles and John Lennon to their son Sean. Last month Sean Yoko Lennon was appointed a director at eight companies linked to Yoko and the Beatles.

Ailing and wheelchair-bound Yoko Ono is ‘slowing down,’ insiders say. “I’ve learned so much from having this illness. I’m thankful I went through that.” While it’s not clear what “illness” she was referring to, Ono, now 89, is still ailing, requires round-the-clock care and rarely leaves her sprawling apartment in The Dakota, a source close to her staff told The New York Post.

Meantime a new documentary to revisit John Lennon and Yoko Ono @ ‘The Mike Douglas Show’ is on the way.

Daytime Revolution' will cover the pair's five-episode stint on the talk show, which director Erik Nelson said "was as far as the counterculture would ever get”

Titled Daytime Revolution, the documentary was authorised by Ono and Lennon’s son, Sean, and will include archival footage from each of the five episodes co-hosted by the famous couple in 1972. Daytime Revolution was directed by Erik Nelson, and will feature interviews with surviving guests who were interviewed by Lennon and Ono on The Mike Douglas Show, as well as behind-the-scenes stories of the pair’s week-long stint.
