Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ Top kicked off the second leg of their co-headlining Sharp Dressed Simple Man tour on Friday at Savannah, Georgia's Enmarket Arena.

You can see set lists and videos from both bands below, as well as fan-shot video from their Saturday night concert in Estero, Florida.

ZZ Top and Lynyrd Skynyrd have announced that they will resume their Sharp Dressed Simple Man Tour next year with 36 new co-headlining performances across the U.S.

This marks the first major trek since founding Lynyrd Skynyrd guitarist Gary Rossington passed away in March. As ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons shared during a conversation with UCR, the late rocker's presence was palpable. "He’s still with us in no small terms," Gibbons explained. "All of those guys, you know, it’s that Skynyrd thing. They live on."

The new trek will be broken up into two legs, with the first series of dates kicking off March 8 in Savannah, Georgia, winding down April 20 in Corpus Christi, Texas, and the second mapped out from an August 15 concert in Syracuse, New York, through a September 22 show in Ridgefield, Washington.

In Europe the band will be performing in nine countries across the continent next summer, including festivals and indoor headline shows, starting in Sweden on June 28 before coming to Norway, Denmark, Germany, Austria, Netherlands, France and the UK before signing off in Switzerland on July 16. The only UK date on the tour will be in London at the OVO Arena Wembley on July 11.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public this Friday, November 3, at 10 a.m. local time, while an artist presale will begin on Tuesday, October 31, at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets can be found on StubHub.

The tour will mark 50 years since Lynyrd Skynyrd dropped their legendary 1973 debut album (pronounced ‘lĕh-‘nérd ‘skin-‘nérd), which features iconic songs such as “Gimme Three Steps,” “Tuesday’s Gone,” and the guitar powerhouse “Free Bird"

“It’s about the legacy of Lynyrd Skynyrd, and what it stands for, what the fans are all about,” said Skynyrd’s Johnny Van Zant via a press statement. “There’s nothing like getting out there playing a great show with Skynyrd and seeing people love this music.”

Added founding guitarist Gary Rossington, who still makes select live appearances with the band: “We’re still standing, Still keeping the music going. We wanted to do the guys who aren’t with us any more proud, and keep the name proud, too.”

Meanwhile, ZZ Top continue to forge on following the passing of late bassist Dusty Hill in 2021. Elwood Francis has assumed bass duties alongside singer-guitarist Billy Gibbons and drummer Frank Beard. Consequence caught the band’s October show in Port Chester, New York, where they sounded as sharp as ever

ZZ Top Gibbons says “Dusty gave me the directive” for band to continue on.

The blues-rock trio recorded the 11-track Raw in connection with its 2019 Netflix documentary, That Little Ol' Band From Texas. The LP includes signature hits such as "La Grange," "Tush" and "Gimme All Your Lovin'" as well as early deep cuts like "Brown Sugar" and "Certified Blues" from ZZ Top's First Album.
