L'album del 2004 dei Green Day, American Idiot, che includeva "American Idiot" e "Wake Me Up When September Ends", era in cima alla classifica, vendendo oltre 2,6 milioni di copie nelle classifiche del Regno Unito, basandosi sulle vendite e gli streaming combinati nel Regno Unito.
